How do you usually spend your Sundays?

With exercise and excursions! I love going for walks on Sundays and could be out for hours, especially in the forest. I immerse myself in a magical land of birdsong and plant scents, and the silence of the trees calms me incredibly. Fortunately, I also live near the ocean. I love getting my weekly dose of salt water. I go for walks, swim, and collect seashells.

Your favorite places for a Sunday stroll?

I usually stop by a cute forest café called La Checa in the Lussich Arboretum near me. It’s very peaceful, with a view of the forest and you can see the sea in the distance. We cook a lot at home and I’m always creative with our harvest, so I love these little breaks and enjoy trying new, different things. Contrast and variety are important. There is also a bookstore and a gift shop, all very earthy, artistic, and mystically inspired, and I love browsing around.

Your favorite Sunday outfit?

I place great value on natural fabrics and am currently really into my light brown linen set, consisting of a skirt (for me, always high-waisted) and a long linen balloon top that can be wrapped as desired. I also love my white linen dresses and often have something woolly with me—whether it’s a cape or a vest—since Uruguay is a rather windy country.

Your favorite Sunday shoe? And why?

Boots. I love boots because they give my feet secure support and strengthen my posture and presence. And I admit, I like the few extra centimeters in height. Boots just have something majestic and elegant about them. They are a real presence, a statement. They are robust, practical, and beautiful, and they fit my natural lifestyle perfectly.

How do shoes define your individual style?

For me, shoes are the finishing touch, the final detail that completes my style. Our appearance, our clothes, and our shoes reflect our essence, our taste, and our individuality. Who we are and how we feel in a given moment, and what we want to communicate about ourselves to the outside world.
