How do you usually spend your Sundays?

Since I usually work on Saturdays, Sunday is sacred to me. When my daughter is with me, we sleep in, pick up our foster dog, and have a leisurely breakfast somewhere outside. The best Sundays are the ones where we completely lose track of time, just drift along – and only realize in the evening that homework is still waiting.

Your favorite places for a Sunday stroll?

The Old South Cemetery in Munich is around the corner from my apartment. I like to walk there and sit on a bench with a coffee I’ve brought along and a book – it’s wonderfully cool and quiet here, especially in summer. Your favorite Sunday shoe? And why?

Your favorite outfit on a Sunday?

I like it uncomplicated, just like any other day; my wardrobe consists exclusively of pieces that can be combined with one another, that allow me freedom of movement and do not restrict me. In summer, I therefore prefer wearing a wide, black kaftan dress and flat shoes – always!

Your favorite Sunday shoe? And why?

A few years ago, I decided that life is too short for uncomfortable shoes. My favorites are therefore a buttery-soft loafer and a classic ballet flat.

How do shoes define your individual style?

Shoes make the look! They are incredibly important and can either upgrade or downgrade any outfit, depending on how you feel like wearing it.

When and how did you first come into contact with the Unützer brand?

Many years ago, I was a fashion assistant at a women’s magazine and was invited to a job interview that was to take place that very same day. At the time, I was wearing black suit trousers and an orange-red silk blouse – with my old, worn-out Chucks on my feet. While looking for an alternative that I could borrow, I struck gold in the prop room: a pair of black smooth leather pumps by Unützer. They fit like a glove – and I got the job. To this day, I regret not buying those pumps back then.
