How do you usually spend your Sundays?

Since I usually work on Saturdays, Sundays are sacred to me. When my daughter is with me, we sleep in, pick up our foster dog, and have a leisurely breakfast somewhere outdoors. The best Sundays are those when we completely forget about time, just let ourselves drift – and only remember in the evening that homework is still waiting.

Your favorite places for a Sunday stroll?

The Old South Cemetery in Munich is around the corner from my apartment. I like to walk there and sit on a bench with a coffee and a book I brought – it's wonderfully cool and quiet there, especially in summer. Your favorite Sunday shoe? And why?

Your favorite Sunday outfit?

I like to keep things simple, just like any other day; my wardrobe consists exclusively of pieces that can be combined with each other, that allow me freedom of movement and don't restrict me. In summer, I therefore prefer to wear a black, loose kaftan dress and flat shoes – always!

Your favorite Sunday shoe? And why?

A few years ago, I decided that life is too short for uncomfortable shoes. My favorites are therefore buttery soft loafers and classic ballerinas.

How do shoes define your individual style?

Shoes make the look! They are extremely important and can either upgrade or downgrade any outfit, depending on what you're going for.

When and how did you first encounter the Unützer brand?

Many years ago, I was a fashion assistant at a women's magazine and was invited to a job interview that was to take place on the same day. I was wearing black suit trousers and an orange-red silk blouse – and my old, worn-out Chucks on my feet. Looking for an alternative I could borrow, I found something in the props department: a pair of black patent leather pumps from Unützer. They fit perfectly – and I got the job. To this day, I regret not having bought the pumps back then.
