How do you usually spend your Sundays?

In astrology, Sunday is the day of the sun. Accordingly, I prefer to be in the sun. Whether it's sunrise or sunset is negotiable. The main thing is sun. I really enjoy spending time with my son Kosmo and our Chihuahua Lord. Recently, I've been taking trips to my podcast studio now and then. On Sunday, we should really only do the things that make us shine and bring joy from the heart.

Your favorite places for a Sunday stroll?

Actually, going for a walk is one of my favorite activities. In Berlin, from Alexanderplatz across Museum Island towards Chateau Royal. Drinking tea there with my favorite ghosts is always very enlightening. In Zurich, my chosen home, all roads lead to the Frauenbadi. My absolute favorite walk, however, is around the Einsiedeln Abbey. I am certain that unicorns live here.

Your favorite Sunday outfit?

As always, witchy-casual. I think a good coat is a must-have in spring, even over a nightgown if you like. Ideally with a bit of cashmere mixed in and some headwear. I always need something on my head and preferably a hot drink in my hand, including a piece of cake. No Sunday without cake.

Your favorite Sunday shoe? And why?

Honestly, I wear flat shoes 90% of the time. I’m really not a high-heel girl anymore. For the simple reason that I can’t stand it when my feet hurt after two hours. Low heels are a practical form of self-love. Although I also strongly believe in the magic of an elongated leg. But more from the bathroom to the bed than over hill and dale.

How do shoes define your individual style?

I think shoes are just incredibly important. Like a period at the end of a sentence. Shoes are what truly complete a look. That must have been back in my time as a fashion editor in Munich. So, a good 20 years ago. Although, fortunately, time is relative. Quality, on the other hand, is non-negotiable. My grandfather always used to say, "We are too poor to buy cheap shoes" — there’s some truth to that.
